Hi,

I am looking to network with people who have invented a product that can solve problems in everyday life been watching dragons den too much!. I have an idea that if I can put together and market to a big manufacturer will be used by literally everyone.

Hi AzimScot,

If you have a patentable idea, I suggest you contact the IPO (Intellectual Property Office) in Newport or find yourself a patent attorney to discuss your new idea with. If this is a novel and inventive idea, you will need to create a patent application (which is where the IPO/patent attorney will help you) and file it at the patent office. Just a word of caution, if you disclose your idea(s) to Joe Bloggs etc., you may not be able to file an application as you have already disclosed details prior to filing at the patent office!

I've had a very marketable product idea and have had for about 3 years but I just don't have the knowledge to do something about it. It's a shame really because I know it will sell!
