CCCS Review Help?

Hi guys, my review is due and I sent them my amended budget which has a increase of £8 a month at the moment.

They replied with the following:

Hi ******

I have noted your budget that you do not pay any repair costs, as a friend does these for free.

Based on a payment of £113, the term of your plan will still be approximately 31 years. I can see we advised in 2009, that the term of your plan was not realistic and we needed to look at other options if this had not reduced dramatically.

As the term of your plan is still not realistic, we need to discuss other options before we can complete your review.

Please call us to discuss this before 22/02/11 on 0845 272 5400- Option 2 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, no appointment is required).
Kind regards

I was under the understanding that providing it was paid of before I retire then I would be ok and aslong as I was increasing it every year, which I have been.

Bit worried now tbh.

I am 30 years of age at the moment for your info.

Anyone help :o

  • I suppose it's more a case of what the creditors would accept, if you own a home they would no doubt seek charging orders, however I know that the ideal term of a CCCS plan is one of ten years or thereabouts, they have a statutory requirement to suggest bankruptcy etc for any term over 7 years. Have a chat with the CCCS and see what they can do.
