Recently ordered some items from H & B. They do not notify you of despatch of goods - so delivery date will be a suprise - and no tracking number to provide a clue.

Their customer services took around 24 hours to respond to my e-mail enquiry which is reasonable.

HDNL did eventually deliver my parcels. HDNL initially attempted to deliver a parcel within a week of my order being placed but I was not home & a card was left. I rescheduled a delivery online but guess what - no delivery on the date I specified. I then chased my order up with H & B who informed me my parcel had been damaged in transit and had been returned to H & B.

My order eventually arrived - very well packaged. Based on the H & B ordering system I would only order items if I was getting a really good discount - otherwise unless you are at home most of the time to take delivery whenever for me it's too much hassle.

Just recieved my 2nd order I placed.. really hoping I get my first- its all my green tea. They took the money for both out yesterday so fingers crossed. I did do another order Thursaday but its has`nt been tracked by quidco so I`m expecting that to be cancelled. Never mind- that was me being greedy anyway lol

the offer was a bit good though especially when it was buy 1 get 1 half price! i ordered 3x for myself and other members in my family and none have come but no cancellation e mails. fingers crossed!

Well I went back and ordered a couple more times - all on the same account - and one of those just arrived, makes a change for one of these to work for me and for it to be something I would be buying anyway. Very pleased.

Altho' I would like to have been a fly on the wall at Holland & Barrett when they realised what was going on.

I think as a rule of thumb if they have taken the money then it's on it's way.

has anybody had odd amounts taken from their banks by holland and barrett?

made a few orders, ones gone taken the full amount without the discount and another has only taken 79p. Completely different amounts to what my confirmation emails said. Very strange : /
