Before carrying on though its worth noting Woolworths was offering a £399 32" HD ready LCD TV, and some stores occassionally have them, yet most are sold out. Woolies has said its likely there'll be more stock before Xmas, and I'm constantly checking and will of course include it in the weekly email when it happens
Woolies will be getting these in before xmas as far as i know, in batches though, they sell out in half an hour if that, no kidding! Last batch was 840, on Friday 17th november, came on ordering at 5pm, gone by 5.20. Best way to get one is to leave your details with the store, when the store is informed when they will be available to order, they will give you a ring to let you know. Its a high priced item, which the managers just love to sell in their stores lol, so they are very likely to take every opportunity to make a sale! Hope this helps someone!0 -

Spec seems quite good: 1366 x 768 - Contrast ratio 1000:1 and it even has a HDMI input on it. Made by Acoustic Solutions. Have put mine on order today! - Also comes with wall mount bracket.
Doesn't look like it has many connections?0 -

So far I'm very impressed with this TV, the picture is much sharper than the inlaws 32 inch sony lcd.0 -

There must be some down sampling being done, either in the Xbox or in the TV because it doesn't physically have 1080 lines.
"Resolution (horizontal x vertical - in pixels) 1366 x 768"
Sorry... It's another confusing thing - I've seen lots of TVs saying 1080p "compatible" or "supported", but it doesn't mean 1080p display. I got caught out on my TV, it has 768 lines, but the HD component inputs only take up to 480p!
There are a few that do have the right number of pixels http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=318000&tab=specification, although even this doesn't state whether its output is progressive...
I think we can all agree, it's not like the good old days. Bring back black and white!0
