I am wanting to make some chocolate truffles as presents. Does anyone know whether they can be frozen?

280g/10oz good-quality dark choc, 70% cocoa solids
284ml pot Double cream
50g/2oz unsalted butter
Chop the chocolate and tip into large bowl.
Put the cream and butter into a saucepan and gently heat unti butter melts and cream reaches simmering point.
Remove from heat , then pour over chocolate.
Stir together until you have a smooth mixture.
Add any flavourings or leave plain.
Cool and chill for at least 4hrs.
Shape and coat (some ideas are pistachio, coconut, orange cocoa-orange zest & jiuce with cocoa powder, melted chocolate)the truffle mix.
Store in airtight container for 3days or freeze for up to a month. Defrost in fridge overnight0
