here we go again

i found this site 3 yrs ago and wanted to be mortgage free a.s.a.p. so took all martin's advice and went for it 100%. i had 20 years left and now i'm down to 1 yr 10 months but circumstances change and now i'm just about to buy another house with my partner and have used all savings on first mortgage to fund deposit for new mortgage until old house sells. any new tips to help us will be greatly appreciated. thanks.kk

    a) Post a SOA
    b) Check everything is at the cheapest rate possible
    c) Post figures. We all like numbers and percentages!
    Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
    September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
    April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
    Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045

    Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 2037

    Price your old house to sell asap and keep it as clean and junk free as possible
    Be careful with every penny you spend right now as the bills roll in when you move
