Need to return stuff to M&S but lost receipt!

I need to return some clothes I bought from M&S online but my boyfriend lost the invoice that it came with.
Does anyone know if I can return the clothes using a print out from my online order or do they need the actual invoice that the clothes came with?
Also if I use the print out then will I get a cash refund or store credit? I don't go to the shop very often so store credit won't be very useful
They have all been further reduced since ordering but they don't fit so I need to return them & I really want to get back what I paid for them

I returned something once with a print of my internet order. I think as long as they have proof of what you paid and it is within the 90 days for their returns policy you should be OK.

Their website says that you need the "parcel summary document" to return by post. If I were you, I'd phone their customer help line and see if they can help you. It seems unfair that they wouldn't refund you since there will be a record of the purchase made online. Don't think you have a chance of getting a refund if you just went into the store.

I think with a print out you should be okay - one of my colleagues works part time at M&S over Christmas and is always full of stories about the customer service desk - refunding goods that were 5 years old!
She said that their policy is to make sure you leave the store happy so that you will come back!

You need the originall parcel document. If you dont have proof of purchase its todays selling price(i.e.if any of the items have been reduced n price you will get the reduced price) and a credit note. I work for M&S and they have really tightened up on their refund policy, so be warned. Hope this helps. :cool:0 -
why don't you phone M&S and say that there was no delivery slip in the parcel and ask them to send you another one??0
