2 separate things really but does anyone have a recipe for cowboy pie? My daughter has it at school and loves it. Have no idea what it really is except she says it has beans and sausages in! She is 5!!
Also i am doing a cake fundraiser for the charity Bliss. https://www.cakeadifference.org
Can I freeze cupcakes/buns? Any ideas for (cheap!) flavours/toppings etc that will appeal to all ages?
Many thanks. x

I have just googled Cowboy Pie and there are loads of variations!!! See if it is topped with mash or pastry... I would guess its just beans and sausages with a mash potato topping ; maybe some BBQ sauce in the beans. But thats a guess!
Re cakes - yes they can be frozen. I would just do a buttercream icing and top with choc buttons/sprinkles, cocoa powder etc.
hope that helps

My kids love cowboy pie, we just put sausage n beans in (and sometimes spam) then top with mash potato and cheese then put it back in the oven/grill like you would a shep pie. I like it with either bbq or worcester sauce added to the beans too but my kids dont0
