Mr Lender

Good Afternoon,
Not really sure if this is the right place to post? Please go easy if it isn't.
I took a payday loan with Mr Lender last year and continued to rollover the loan. Unfortunately, due to a new job, the January payment bounced. After some haggling, I agreed to pay £100 to clear to loan on the 31st January.
I have checked my bank this morning and the have taken £535!! This is the old total including charges etc.
Is there anything I can do now???
Thanks for you help!!!

You could complain to the OFT and trading standards. You should make sure that nothing is outstanding on the loan or they will come back for that. If it is all clear just be glad you are out of that nasty payday loan spiralThere's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.0 -
in a word no i dont think there is much you can do.
You have been, like many fooled by them into thinking they have accepted youre payment plan and all along it would of been there intention to do this.
It amazes me how companies can get away with these underhand tactics in this day and age.0 -
Report them to OFT - they're investigating these companies and the more complaints they get the better IMO. Did you get anything in writing from them agreeing to a payment plan?My LBM - December 2010!
