HI All

I have today done an Equifax report to go with my Experian one that I am paying monthly for, basically to see if all is OK.

Nothing I wasnt expecting on there although more detail in my opinion.

Anyway in the linked address section on Equifax there is an entry for 17th January 2011 on a property I sold in October 2010. The property was rented out for two years prior to this. The search is in my name.

The search was for outstanding debt and by a company called 1st Locate Ltd

No there is nothing outstanding that I am aware of and I paid up to date or settled anything I had.

Should I contact them and ask the question as to why they did a search or will it not effect my credit rating anyway and leave alone ?

I have a traceable address list and nothing to hide.
