Leg of lamb question

wE buy Iceland legs of lamb - about £13 for the whole leg.
They do 4 avid omnivores for a real good nosh, DS will claim a hot sandwich out of the rest and the following day the rest will be thrown in the slow cooker with onion, carrots, spuds, gravy and stock and left to bubble to make a hash.
