Looking for ribbon donations (short ones are fine) for a poorly little boy

Hiya, I have a couple of craft project ideas to make for a little boy called lennon who adores ribbons. Lennon has loads of problems (just some of them (Chronic lung disease, Pulmonary hypertension, growth hormone deficient – he has growth hormone injections, Hypo-glycaemia, Intestinal Pseudo obstruction and Eosinophilic enteritis, severely deaf, chronic kidney failure, hypo-tonia, Reflux, E-coli, central apnea’s, sagittal synostosis, dysphagia, failure to thrive.) and spends a lot of his life in and out of hospital. You can read about him here http://postpals.co.uk/pals/Lennon+R
As I said he loves ribbons so I had a couple of ideas of things to make him but I don't have enough ribbons, I have some as I rather like ribbons myself and have off cuts from nappy cakes etc but not enough.
I wondered if any fellow crafts could spare some of your ribbons please, as I said off cuts/bits left over from a reel are fine. They will get to me if they are sent to vikki, PO Box 278, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT23 4WN
Thank you

I love this thread! i have also just started sending smiles to a few children on post pals and absolutely love it as i now have a reason to be crafty and make lots of sock animals and i also get my daughter to draw pictures for me to send (shes only 2 but i explain they are for poorly children to make them smile and she loves drawing for them).
I would love to send you some ribbon. i am going to delve through my numerous boxes of crafty supplies that i hardly use and send you what i can!!
Winging their way to you shortly...

Vikki,
I have just emailed a company I know to ask if they can help. When I hear back from them I will let you know. I will also have a sort through my ribbons.

It says on the link that his favourite colour is red.
I'll have a look for any ribbons I might have. Not really a ribbon person though, but I'll have a look!0 -
Fab site. I don't have any ribbons but I do regularly write to various children. I am currently making a memory book with some students for a pal.
Really great site. You do a fab job Vikki0 -
Vickki - I contacted Ali, from Craftyribbons and she has replied saying she would love to help.
this was her reply to me.Hi Tams
We would be delighted to help. We have a huge tub of scraps, do you have an address for Lennon?
Back in office next wednesday.
Ali x
I have forwarded her the address, so please expect something in the post, but may take a while as I believe they are in Paris at the minute.

Hi Vikki,
just saw your thread title as I was going through the index list.
I haven't got many ribbons but have found a nice colourful rainbow striped one in the few bits I have, so will send you it along with a couple of others, hope you can use them.
I would love to know what your craft projects are that you are planning and good luck in your ribbon hunt. If I get any more I will post them on.
Best wishes to Lennon.
