Has anyone become part of a panel where you get to test electrical products and get to keep them?

I would be interested too.
Some of the survey sites I'm a member of have offered me products to test. Ciao wanted me to test an inkjet printer once but I missed the phone call while I was at work so that automatically took me off the list. I tested a plaster once for some other one. Don't know any that specialise in this but I'd be careful. I've seen some scam emails offering Macbook Air's for testers which they can keep but they just after your personal details.0
