My name is Ian and I was Diva's OH/partner.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave a comment here.
She died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sat 29th whilst recovering in hospital after an operation.
She was a wonderful and beautiful person who took great pride in her "work" on the forum here. She loved the fact that people used her recipes and she did her best to include everyone in her posts.
I know I do not know many of you but I do thank for for being a part of her life.
She will be missed.
I have set up a website as a focal point for now and in the future. Please drop by, subscribe, share, bookmark... remember her however you wish.. she would just love to be remembered.
I was asked if people could make donations, there is a link on her website for Just Giving and the RNLI.

Her funeral is likely to be on Fri 18th Feb at 13.15. I say likely as I am still waiting to hear her actual cause of death.
Thank you once again.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I didn't know Diva as I'm fairly new to this board, but know people that did, and it's clear she made a big impact on posters here. My heart goes out to her friends and family and to you Ian, thanks for your post.

So so sad & sorry to hear this news. I used to read the Daily thread & especially looked out for Diva's posts as she always left me feeling motivated & inspired. I've been wondering where she was just lately.
She always had such wise words for everyone that I imagined her to be much older but I've just seen her date of birth & she was, in fact, only a few months older than me.
My thoughts are with Diva's family & friends and I hope they find some comfort knowing that she touched so many people's lives in such a positive way.0
