I dont see a problem with the comp I entered it earlier via an email, its also on thier fb site, I would of posted it myself if it wasnt on here already, the prize is available in the currency you choose and if your country dosent accept amex they will send you a visa card instead if you win, the comp is open internationally, when you follow them on twitter you get a lot of other people following you from them maybe its something to do with that:huh: Thanks for the comp and good luck:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I entered their ipad comp on both Twitter and FB and there was no probs with spam etc.
They specifically state comps are open worldwide too - 3 of the ipad winners were from the UK.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
This is what I am asking from the admin over here? Why was my earlier posted comps deleted when I am sure lots of my dear compers had no issue with this. I can see the 1st comp I posted about iPad had 256 thanks .. so it can't be that bad. Plus as I mentioned a regular comper Dawn Costen won an iPad yesterday from the same comp.
Can someone please get back to me and explain why was my comp post deleted. I had marked it quite clearly that I am not related to the company in any way and has been entering it myself on Twitter by the name of salmanmj1.
I am really really surprised that someone deleted my earlier post without giving me an explanation
Glowgirl .. Thank you for your support - I don't see why that should be an issue. Twitter works that way .. everyone follows everyone . .. so it's kinda exciting. If that is the case then I think lot of ppl would miss out amazing comps running on Twitter0 -
Apologies for bumping this ... but really I would not sit quite without knowing who deleted my comp and why was this deleted? :x
I work as much as hard as other senior mse members over here in finding unique competition for everyone to fill out .. and this is certainly not on.0 -
People are never informed when their posts are deleted, I believe. I'll try to find where it says that.
Why has my post/thread been removed without telling me?
Posts/threads are deleted so we're no longer "publishing" them. While you may have posted it once we are made aware of it - we are legally liable too as the publisher. When something is deleted, it's removed from public view but it's still viewable by the Forum Team and can be reinstated if it needs to be. It won't show up in a forum search.
We never contact people when their posts are deleted. The sheer numbers of posts removed every day means it's simply impossible to contact everyone.
The Forum Team won't respond to aggressive emails demanding to know why a post/thread's been removed but if you send them a polite email asking, they may review or explain the decision where possible (sometime legal reasons prevent this). If you're still unhappy email webmaster@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Do you guys think I should e-mail them and ask why was my post deleted .... or should leave it as a one off. I tend to get really upset when something like that happens .. prob in my nature

I'd probably leave it. It's nothing personal. There may be some legal issue with that particular site that they wouldn't tell you about anyway.0

My only thing is I posted an earlier comp for winning 7 iPads earlier .. and it is still live with 250 thanks .. so don't understand why this would be the case for this post while the draw which happened yet had 3 UK winners .. one of them I know as a regular comper

I had a link to a twitter list in my sig, it was deleted, links aren't allowed in sigs no matter if they help or not. Rules, accept them or don't post, simple as that. IMO someone thought you were connected to the comp which isn't allowed for the greater good even if it's totally gen and wholesome. In fact, I seem to remember someone asking if it was connected to you? You had few posts and that is often the case with people promoting stuff they are connected to.
No harm or insult was intended I'm sure, we've all had it in sme way.
Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Thank you so much for your post timmmers. I understand your point .. but in this case I made it very clear to the point that I was in no way connected to this company .. although still a beginner have learned alot from seniors over here .. and I realize that self promotion is a very big no no .. so can't even thinking of going against the MSE rules
. Plus I am sure there were no links attached to the earlier comp. Anyways let bygones be bygones .. Hope you guys had a great weekend 0
