  • I have failed miserably. It definitely makes you think about where your money actually goes though!

£12.51 spent this week so I'm under target :-)

I'm going to amend my target to £15 for next week
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

  • lillylass/RFTA I didn't know you could change your username. What prompted the change?

I wish I'd not changed it - I don't like it: I've used lilylass for years on forums etc:( (finding it really hard to "find" myself to catch up on threads as I just don't recognise this as me).

It was really as I've discovered that both DF and a close colleague at work frequent the boards - much as adore DF and get on really well with my colleague - I don't really want them to know the extent of the debt I had/have. They would recognise me from other forums we both belong to and it is also my email address, so decided it was the only option.

Guess I'll get used to it but will probably still refer to myself as Lily ("Rising" doesn't really seem very personal).
Didn't get off to a good start yesterday as forgot to take my flask home on Friday - couldn't face Monday (of all days) without "proper" coffee so gave into a *bucks - £1.50 gone:(.

Sorry I've not been around much this week, not been too well:(.

Anyway, think I've sneeked in with a GREEN: £6.53

    £1.50 mentioned above
£1:00 Chocolate bar (but they were 2 for £1)
£2.99 Friday lunch treat (on Thursday!)
    £1.04 lunch on Friday

Think I'm going to keep going down this path for a while and make this for purely "unnecessary" spends so £10 for next week please Pointy.

Well done to the underspenders and, to "the overs", next week is a new week. This is a great challenge to make you think before just buying the odd wee bit here & there.

  • This week was green with £4.20 spent on library fines :o

Next week I pledge to keep all unnecessary spends to £10 or less.

Good luck to everyone, have a good week BB
