I have spyware somewhere on my computer and it's tough to get rid of.
I've scanned with AVG anti-spyware, Adaware, Panda and Kaspersky.
AVG got rid of one last night but when I switched on today it was back.
Kaspersky keeps giving me warnings about it but can't delete it.
Panda identified sth but wanted me to buy sth to do it. It looked dodgy so I left it alone.
Details I have are that this is a Trojan downloader http://www.viruslist.com/en/search?VN=Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.alj
Also from the last Kaspersky scan in program files, Qualitycodec\isaddon.dll and from documents and settings qualitycodec.912.exe/stream
Also tried Housecall but when I tried to start scan, all internet pages closed inc housecall
I think it's coming from a codec I tried to download on Friday

Have you tried switching off system restore, then scanning in safe mode?Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

what does that mean?0

Go to start, all progs, accessories, system tools, system restore...settings, then turn off.
Then reboot your machine tapping F8 you will have the option to go to safe mode. Don't panic.
Just run all your security software from there and see what it picks up.
Then reboot and switch back on system restore.
However if you have a usb keboard I don't think you can get into safe mode, perhaps someone knows different.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

I'd use restore to go back to before friday first

SmitfraudFix will clear that variant of Zlob up. It was updated on the 9th to cover the registry entries and files/folders.
It may be better if you posted a HijackThis log first though so we can see what else may be lurking.0
