I reserved 2 for store pickup yesterday. When I got there I was told there were none left - and none had been set aside for me. V annoyed. Didn't think there was any need to rush out, as supposedly reserved till Sunday. No apology. V offhand attitude of CS staff and manager.

Apparently the reservation system requires someone at the store to go to the shelf to pick up your items. If they don't, the items can be sold if someone else gets there first. And the website saying they have stock can mean only 1 item, so...

The only good news was that PC World also have these on the same offer, and as they hadn't put the price on display, they had some.

I thought this was a very good price for a 2gb mp3 player and didn't want to miss out so I reserved 1 online on friday pick up instore while I was in town saturday morning.Got there and they had about 20 on the racks advertised at the same price instore.

I doubt these will last long, as they are being backed by a major media campaign (tv ads, etc). So, get in whilst you can.
