home business name ideas please

Hi guys......this is very early in the day and just brainstorming at the moment

ive been thinking about running a little project from home creating invitations for people, weddings, christenings, birthdays, business cards etc.......as they can be posted too its not just a prospective local business like cake decorating for example.

but i was just thinking about quirky but obvious company names for a personalised printing firm?

would love some suggestions

i thought of personalised printing too but think there is already one...does that matter?

probably would have a website eventually yes.... my sister has just set up a cake decorating business from home so she would show me all the things i need to do =D

I have an online 'little project' from home thing, as well as my full time job! It's going well and I have a facebook page too. Went for the name I chose as it's a bit generic and doesn't limit in what I can make, i.e. I make mainly baby items, nappy cakes etc but have also made tons of other things like pamper baskets, wine charms etc. My advice would be to do that and then your not limited to one type of printing. My thoughts on names would be: Beatifully Bespoke Prints or BBP or maybe CM@home i.e custom made at home?? Just a thought x

If you are doing wedding, christenings etc, then I would suggest that your company name needs to sound a bit classy and unique to you, something that evokes a feeling and is not just a blank description.

Sorry, but I would avoid anything with '4' instead of 'for'. For the service you are offering, you need to suggest to your clients that it is worth spending money with you and not buying their invitations at WHSmiths.

And, as someone said above, it should also leave you room to manoevre - say in a year's time, you find that most of your profit comes from weddings then you might want to concentrate on that.

So the name needs to be vague as well since you want to cover all bases at the moment. How about something ending in Print or Designs? Maybe something related to your local area to give it uniqueness, ie if you live near Green Hill, then it could be Green Hill Designs.
