Dixon's Price match policy

Hi,

I bought a Samsung YPZ5 MP3 player from currys.digital last weekend for £129.99 and notice that it is now on sale in Argos (in store) for £84.99 and is also on the Dixonss website now at £94.99.

I was just wondering if I am either able to return it for a refund or whether I can ask them to price match it given it is within two weeks of purchase.

If I am unable to do either I guess I dont mind as I was happy to purchase it at the original price i just would like the difference back if possible

    I'm sure Dixons/Currys.digital offer a 14 day no quibble money back guarantee. But I'm not sure if it's against all items bought or just a selection. eg TV's.
  • In our local high street branch there is a poster saying their price match policy and it says something like 'find the item cheaper elsewere, and we will refund the difference plus 10%''

    There are some conditions with this though (not sure what they are). would be worth going back to the store. at worst you can refund it and get it from argos :)
  • A while back I bought a modem for my PC at Dixon's and the exact same thing happened to me. I was able to get a refund for the initial amount I paid and they sold the item to me as a price match.

    Just pop down to your Dixon's store and speak to the manager, can't see it being a problem. I'm sure they have a price guarantee.

    When my mum purchased a tele the salesperson mentioned if I find it cheaper elsewhere he will refund the difference. This had to be done within a specific timeframe, think it was 14 days not entirely sure.
