NRAM consent to let

Does anyone have a mortgage with NRAM who has got consent to let? I tried to change my mortgage when it was still Northern Rock but 20% of the mortgage had to be paid off (i have paid off nowhere near that and dont have the funds available to do do). Just wondered if anyone got consent to let from NRAM without 20% mortgage being paid off?

Bumping this to see if anyone has had any recent experience of making an application for Consent to Let from NRAM. I am in a similar position to the OP and have had conflicting advice from NRAM.0
