Lizzie, I'm JEALOUS that you live near the factory shop. I do like the polka dot pattern but I think in my little kitchen it would look too much. I love the blue skies design too.

My appointment at the dentist didn't go too well, I've got to have three teeth extracted and I've got to reduce the amount of oranges I eat and of course chocolate!

Its amazing isn't it LMC that your told eat more fruit because its healthier for you and then you go to the dentist and they tell you its not!. My 6yr old loves fruit especially pineapples but the dentist said there too sweet. I've always given my children fruit as a snack but according to dentist i should be given them only after meals.

LMC & Beanie - thats one of the (few) joys of living in the Potteries, lots of lovely factories making lovely things nearby, tonnes of history around too, I love it

Had my training at work this afternoon, 3 hrs pay for having lots of fun with people I've missed in a place that I have missed very very much. So glad to be back It's made me so happy I even relaxed the purse strings a bit and treated us to a chippy tea

thats good news about Jack, hope he continues to improve.

I have done well this morning, I have meal planned and shopped (apart from a few bits from Iceland which I'll fetch tomorrow) until the end of next week. So all I need to buy other than what I get tomorrow will be top ups on bread & milk, & possibly butter & cheese. Meal planning is definitely the way forward with my shopping budget, last week went well, then I didnt do one for this week and we ended up eating really late on Tuesday as we couldnt decide what to have, and then had chippy tea last night, so the plan has been done and we will stick to it

Just had brunch (how continental) of a yummy ommlette and now im gonna watch a bit of tv before i get the rest of my housework done
