I usually trick everyone into eating swede by mashing it in with the potatoes.

and if you mix lentils in with the mince, not only does it go further, its better for them!!

Just had the WWFund collecting in our road. Didn't answer the door and now feel guilty. :o

I should have opened it and shouted, "Dont bother I'm insolvent"

Mind you they looked too young to know what that would mean.

    :o

I used to have a monthly £2 dd to the NSPCC but with br had to give that up - don't feel too bad coz the last I heard charity begins at home :A

Ooooo that cottage pie looks very very yummy. I'm having a tuna salad - that's all the food left in my cupboards :(

hi guys..........4-packs of Tesco B/bans cheaper unit price than 6 packs...

Often supermarkets as devious as Tesco find that certain sizes of pack haven't perhaps sold well, so discount them to move them...

I tend to buy staples when on offer, in quantity.

hence, I still have a few of the large Marmites left [normally £4.99 at Tesco].....found them on offer last year, so bought loads.....can still picture faces of other shoppers at checkout, with my trolley-full of Marmite...

How's about this for Tesco inflationary policies?

Their once-excellent-value choc ices....£1 for a box of ten.....?

Now...£1 for a box of eight!!!!!!!

    all of a sudden....what...25% increase?

can't be the vat, as they're labelled as 'low-vat' foods..
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......
