my best memory of my entire life is the regular trips across the Mersey on the ferry with my Grandad...he used to buy me doughnuts from the Pier Head, and we'd spend the afternoon crossing to the Wirral, sometimes getting off, but more often than not, just doing the round trip.

I can't listen to Ferry cross the Mersey without crying my eyes out!!
