you do that you basically give up all rights to employment law, however the fact he has suggested it might mean he will look to make you redundant and then hire someone.
How long you worked there and what do you believe the motives are?The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!0 -
Your boss cant make the decision for you to go self employed.
The HMRC decides.
He or you would need to ring them and discuss all the issues.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I am sure he wants you to go self employed, what so he can use when he pleases? Not pay you redundancy if you are not needed, no rights to holidays, sick, etc?
Hmmmmm, there are many good reasons to go self employed, tell him if you go self employed your "daily rate" would triple, see what he thinks to that? That would be pretty standard i.e. employee vs freelancer for your daily rate to increase massively. If they want flexibility you get paid for providing it..0 -

Did your employer explain why he wants you to go freelance? I think doing that would affect you greatly because you'll be loosing all your work benefits in the process.Mr. Mulla0
