Hi All,

Had a poor history until recently but all ok now.

I need to get a car loan of circa 4K but having checked my experian I wouldnt get finance on a mars bar...

Are there any sub prime companies out there that dont cost an arm and a leg? I can get a car through the trade so can save money that way....

Thanks in advance

A

In short, no. You can try joining a credit union, but frankly if you have a poor financial position nobody will be in a rush to lend you 4 grand for a motor. Have you thought about a cheaper car, one you're able to afford until you're in a stronger position?

Oh I'm fine now! But these things stay with you for some time...

  • Perhaps use the money you were going to spend on the new conservatory to buy the car?

I absolutely love these kind of threads 'need a loan bad credit' its actually no different to walking in a pub and saying 'need a pint no money' because either way your not going to get it.

No.They are 'sub-prime' because they lend to people who have a history of not paying their debts. So they are taking a caclulated risk and therefore charge high interest.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
