Cheapest place to buy timber

Anyone know where the cheapest place to buy timber would be in Belfast/Newtownabbey. I need to build a shelving unit and a workbench for the garage, nothing fancy just basic. Would I be better going to a builders merchant or timber yard as opposed to B&Q?

Definitely. B&Q or Homebase will be much dearer.0

Andy's Stores on the Monkstown Road is hard to beat - a proper old-fashioned hardware store/builder's merchant.0

Priced wood in B&Q not that long ago and it was over half the price cheaper per foot in my local hardware shop/buliders merchant0

Clady Timber, Portglenone
I wouldn't go anywhere else for timber.
By far the cheapest for wood.
