Today I bought a set of 5 useful kitchen items for £2.48 reduced from about £9.90. Includes corkscrew, tin opener, garlic press, peeler and nutcracker plus stand. Various other new stuff reduced as well including a stoneware 16 piece set of plates, dishes etc for about £5.

I'm a sucker for those cheap dishclothes. I have about 60 now!! Just find them very handy - even using two to reduce harshness of sound in my PA speakers.

Yesterday I bought 3x 3 drawer plastic storage units. Were £15.97 reduced to £3.99 each .

They also had a coffee table for under £4 . Bookshelves for under £4 . A desk for under £12. Floor lamps less than £4 . Swan dinner service for £3.99. Tea, coffee, sugar canisters for 99p each, were £2.99 . Glasses (pack of 3) 49p . Kids sized coathangers pack (cant remember how many in a pack) 11p . Little kids lamps 87p each !!! Tea towel pack (2 towels per pack) less than 40p. Cute pictures 75p . Scented candle packs (3 candles per pack) 60p . They were putting more stock out as fast as customers were taking stock. Even the staff couldnt believe how cheap it was . Up to 75% off original prices.:D

I also had a fielday yesterday. I think I timed it right as lots of staff were grabbing bargains too. I bought placemats for £2 instead of £8, toilet seat £2 instead of £10, cutlery £2 (£15), touch lamps £2.50 (£15), knife set for £7 (£30)and a pack of three glasses for 50p. Very happy !!!!!

My local Tesco today had a three tier chrome shelf unit down from £16 to £3 odd, pine shelves down to less than £1 and best of all for me I got the kitchen gadget set for £2.50 from £10 as someone mentioned earlier. I had intended buying a new potato peeler which worked out at nearly £2 and with this set got a corkscrew, tin opener, garlic press, potato peeler and nut cracker all on a display unit thingy!

Also I bought some Florence and Fred handbags down from £5 to £1.25. They had them in black, pink, beige and black with sparkles, great little Mother's Day present

I bought two 20 metre washing lines for 16p each today. I thought I could keep one in each car in case I need to tie anything when loading etc.

Yes, my wife rang me at work to say that Tesco Weston Favell had a big area full of offers, including that one, when she went in on Thursday afternoon. I went there after work, arrived about 10:30pm, and the whole area had been stripped clear by eager bargain-hunters!

The chrome shelf would have been quite useful, but wifey couldn't carry it
