i have a piece of software from the office of fair trading
for calculating settlement figures its called dualcalc
!
i have run through my two loans but there are two options
for rebate methods "actuarial" or "pro-rata"! there is a rule
of 78 one but that is obviously no long used
!
what i want to know is should i be using the "actuarial" or
"pro-rata" one they come up with different values
!
actuarial says £4817 settlement
pro rata says £4030 settlement
!
!
im hoping its the pro rata one lol
