Hi, I'm new to this and not sure if I'm in the right place, so if not, sorry!
I had to close my business 2 years ago, and at the time was left with a lot of debt (around£40k) I didn't go down the bancruptcy route, as we really wanted to keep our house, and it is in joint names; my husband works and has a reasonably good income, so I thought I would just work really hard and pay it off and move on. I have been doing this, but am finding the pressure of the debt really hard to cope with. I have a job, but only for the next 6 months, and although it's quite well paid, I feel like I just can't do it, but the alternative just doesn't bear thinking about.
Sorry, I know lots of you are in a much worse place than this and really don't mean to whine, just feel a bit desperate.

First thing is try not to get wound up about it..
Secondly pop over to the Debt free wannabee thread and speak to others who are in the same boat and can offer you moral support from the web.
The main thing is is that your paying it off."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
