Question CCJ

Any help would be appreciated with this problem.I have been to court over a CCJ brought against me by my accountant from a business i used to run 2 years ago.I have attended but I am concerned that all my personal details have been sent to him also,I have never seen any books or returns from him.Stupidly I cannot find any paperwork in relation to the CCJ when it was originally served.Any ideas appreciated on where i stand :rotfl:

I was going to suggest sending a subject access request to get a copy of all data he holds on you, but I’m not sure if you can do this for business data. It might be worth contacting businessdebtline to see if there is any way to request data from him.

You should be able to get information about the CCJ from the court though.

In our engagement letters we specifically mention the DPA and the right of access that a client has, so I would think you could do a SAR to your accountant.

When you say you are concerned about your personal details being sent to the accoutant what did you mean? about your current financial situation or about your address and contact details etc?

But as George says the first thing I would do is get a copy of the judgement from the court who issued it.
