Hello, I became bankrupt in may last year, and being discharged may this year. I have a chance to do 6 weeks work, which is happeing end of march till beginning of may but dont get paid till after discharge. Was wondering if I could get away with not informing them and if there was any way for them to know I had a job? Dont want to get into too much trouble just for the sake of 6 weeks thanks

How come you don't get paid until after the work is finished?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

its just 6 weeks work then all pay on completion0

It sounds risky to me.
Paid work is WHEN you do it, not when they get round to paying you surely. The payment slip will surely state for what dates the payments were covering.
My pension is paid one month in arrears, but it's still the pension for the previous month.0 -
its for the census so think thet just do it when your finished0

Debtinfo's reply from where you asked the question on another thread
Technically it is perjury and carries a penalty up to a prison sentence, so i would do as you are asked and declare any change in your incomeBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
there would be no change in my income because i will not recieve it untill after the bankruptcy was discharged, think i will tell her that I have this job but will not recieve any money until after being discharged see what the say0
