Coming home for Christmas

Yep, another home coming, and looking forward to it. The only nark is its £520.77 to sail from Birkenhead to Belfast return with the car.
Anyway, told the guy on the phone it was a rip off  and I would look elsewhere. A few searches for flights etc and staring at a £700 bill I rang him back.
Didnt I speak to you earlier he enquired?
Sorry dont know what youre talkin about, its the first time I have rang.

Looking forward to a decent pint, or two:beer: or three:beer:
And I am going to bring back tons of Pasties and veggie roll and some nice breakfast bacon...
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!

£520.77 well spent. On the return journey you will be saying that it was worth every penny.

  • it may be worth your while driving a couple of hours up to Scotland and taking the P+O boat from CAirnryan to Larne? It should be much cheaper, although you may use the difference in petrol.....

  • Ooh, does seem a bit on the high side ( Norfolk Line), even allowing that it is from England. Did you double check the price online yourself? We travel Belfast/Scotland/Belfast often and usually find online bookings cheapest. If you do need to phone, always get them to check all available offers - they sometimes don't bother unless you specifically ask.

Cheers Butterflymum, should have waited for your suggestion, I was getting a bit nervous there would be nothing left so booked it.
On the bright side, the wife paid for it, so I feel a bit better...
