Sorry if this is posted elsewhere.
The Burton on Trent store is busy gathering in deliveries for a two day Manager's Specials clearout next Saturday and Sunday (I can't remeber the time). Shame I'm off to Austria early Saturday morning.

this is not the usual specials found at the back of the store but items which will not go up for sale until Saturday/ Sunday. From what the staff say, there should be some good bargains.
Current specials in-store inlcude a sony cd + changer for around £50-60. They have been selling the Sony Clie TJ-35 for £35 and a rack of minidisc players including the MZ-N910 for £40ish0 -
I need a cd player for my new car. My local Argos had the sony cd+changer a month ago for around £50. Does anyone have the codes for any old catolugue cd players so I can check?

MZ-N10 seemed the only real bargain for me really, the others may be going back!
Had *loads* of Panasonic (?) Hi-Fi systems reduced from £139.00 to just £39.00. Didn't need one myself but watched the pile diminish at such a rate !!
Loads of video cameras though most of the 'bargain' ones sold out whilst I was there, Tv's and portable cd/radio/casettes.
Didn't seem to be the 'real' bargains like last time but stuff was certainly flying off the shelf at opening time !
Might be popping back tomorrow... Any requests for stuff from anyone?*
