32gb iphone 4 £53 (with cashback) £35pm

I've been waiting for a good iphone deal myself so thought I'd share this - Quidco are offering £106 cashback on all new 'The One Plan' contracts - including the iphone. Unfortunately the 16gb iphone is out of stock online. But it's still looks like a good deal even with the 32gb phone.

I'm not sure how reliable this information is, but the reason I've put this on grabbit is because I was told by the cancelations dept at Vodafone, that they had heard of this offer and it was only on for 4 days??

The phone is £159 and the contract is £35pm (for 24 months) which gives you 2000 minutes 5000 texts, 5000 Three-to-Three minutes and All-You-Can-Eat Data.

It's probably worth pointing out that cashback is never guaranteed, but I've already ordered and it has been tracked with Quidco at £106, so one step closer to getting it paid.

    Lol - very good :-P

I have agonised a lot over this but I went for it because of the cheap upfront cost and reasonable monthly cost for a lot of texts mins and unlimited data. And although on the face of it, it isn't comparable to the Tesco 12 month deal, you have to consider that this is 2 years and when you add on another 12 months line rental to the Tesco deal it is definiately in the same ball park. AND with that amount of minutes texts and data I am confident I will never pay more than £35 for the next two years. AND it's the 32gb, so no worries of running out of space.

So I thought it would appeal to others who don't have the cash for the Tesco deal.

From what I understand on the mobiles forum, 3 are really bad at payong their cashback through quidco/tcb and so I wouldn't rely on the cashback to chose the best offer here.

True. 3 are notorious for not paying
If they reject it then you have no come back with anyone and you have been had like most offers by 3 through Quidco.
    Best to look around
Would prefer to pay £199 for the Orange deal with the monthly cost on top then this

although others may have had issues with payment, i purchased an iPhone 4 through 3 & TCB in Spetember 2010 and my payment tracked and cleared quite quickly.

There's a quidclan especially for declined 3 payments, it's that bad. It would seem the vast majority are declined for having paid cashback to another referrer when people have cleared cookies and gone via Quidco. As others have already said, do NOT rely on this cashback actually paying out.

What's it got to do with Vodaphone? Are you saying 'they' know what offers '3' are doing and for how long??:eek:
