Free credit report & Previous addresses

Hiya
Can someone please clarify the situation regarding credit reports?
I have applied for the free credit report for both me & my partner - we have lived at the same address me for 11 years and my partner has been here for 6 years but it didn't give me an option to enter any previous addresses.
My partner in particular wanted to check his previous address to see if any debts were recorded there even though they would be more than 6 years now.
How would we be able to about checking?
