Can anyone help?

Recently purchased the ps2 pack with buzz and rockstar, the ps2 is being very tempermental with reading discs and I would like to return it, do I need to return the whole package or can I just take back the ps2?

Will i get a refund seeing as the games have already been opened and used or just a replacement? Anyone been through this before?
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

  • You wont get a straight refund that is certain.

For the replacement it depends on how recently you purchased it. If it was very recent they may just do a replacement, but it is very likely they will send for repair and you will have to wait. If it goes for repair they wont want the games back in, but the box is always a good plan.

    Hope this helps a bit...
  • Was purchased just over 2 weeks ago! The games came in blister packs therefore we do not have that packaging, will take it tomorrow and see what they say, thank you

How come you want a refund? would a replacement not do?.... this is the sort of thing they will probably ask, in the Argos world, outside of 16 days they don't have to refund you....

It will be within the 16 days - just, I was just concerned about it maybe being a batch problem however a replacement will do!

  • The problem is that PS2s are awful machines. This is nothing to do with Argos! If you bring the item back inside 30 days (not just 16) then you are entitled to a refund. However you will need to bring everything back or they will reduce the refund amount by the price difference you saved when you bought the bundle if you see what I mean.

  • Thanks guys, was worried they would try to send for repair but as it was only 2 weeks old they swapped it straight over for me.

They do if they don't offer a repair or replacement, which they probably would do anyway. 16 days or not, 12 months is what counts.
