Dressmaker recommendations

Hi everyone

I just wondered if someone could recommend a wedding dress designer in the Bolton / Manchester area.

Thanks
Vanessa

I recommend Linda, you can find her on here frequently, but shes also on facebook (dresses at No. 9 ) and she also has a website. http://www.dressesatno9.co.uk

She is over near bradford, not too far down the M62 from Manchester, and well worth the trip.

Shes isnt making my dress, (although the pictures of some of her creations are amazing) but she is doing some fairly significant alterations to mine and i can't recommend her highly enough. Not only is she very talented but she is a lovely lady who cares 100% about the bride rather than some who might see it as just another job.

I dont know when your wedding is but she does get booked up pretty quickly.

Another vote for Linda...she's making my dress. I know from her recent FB posts that she's already got loads of enquiries for 2012 though so if you were interested get in quick!

    Hi

Thanks both. Her dresses look lovely.

I'll have a look at her location to see if I can get there as I don't drive and don't want to ask DF to take me for obvious reasons! :D

Why not take your H2B? He can always sit in the car, i mean he knows you're getting a dress anyway right? so if he drives you then he still knows no more than he did before, just dont take him in with you!

Failing that, can you get a lift with a friend or relative?

Linda really is worth travelling to, i drive over from Cumbria. :-)
