Survery websites - are these legit?

Options
I have been on survey websites for some time but whilst browsing this website have come across a few more.

For example, surveynetwork.co.uk - is it real? The reason I ask is when I get a link in an email, it takes me to a page where it's like you enter your details (like those scam looking websites where you enter your number and they send you text messages whichc harge you) and once you press submit you then do another survey. So the first page and the the survey seem like two different things (which they are because they're not related info.) so it looks odd. Any people who have joined it before and know of any which aren't good?

There are a number of paying survey sites but unfortunately there are many rubbish ones. There's threads here that list both.
  • Do you know about surveynetwork in particular?

  • I signed up with them about three weeks ago, and they seem genuine, the only problem for me is I've screened out of every survey they've sent me so far!

They've not spammed me or anything... yet :)

I researched surveynetwork a while ago. From what I read nobody ever completes a survey and gets paid.
  • I researched surveynetwork a while ago. From what I read nobody ever completes a survey and gets paid.

That's really useful to know. I've clicked through about 10 times in the past couple of weeks and not qualified once. I think I'll stop bothering with them.
  • I have qualified and earned about £2.50 from them so far but you can only take money out when it reaches £20.

The problem is it's not like a normal survey - when you get a link in the email you first fill out a form e.g. for a competition, then it takes you to the survey when you press submit, so it's like they're getting two things out of you rather than one. That's what makes it look false to me but I'm not sure I should submt my details for every first page I see before I get directed to a survey.

  • Hi,
It is one of my all time favorite survey sites and worth persevering with. Since I joined in early November I have earned about £90 and thats from not doing anything like all the surveys! The three daily ones are the ones I mostly do. Two direct you to another portal where you fill out a few basic details about yourself. This them takes you to another screen which lists several subjects and you tick any/all that apply to you or leave them unticked if none do. When you click on the buttom it searches for any suitable surveys. If you get screened out of a survey it gives you, you often have the chance to do another survey. You continue until you complete a survey or they run of the surveys for that day. The other of the 3 daily surveys presents you with a list of subjects and again you tick any that apply. This daily survey often finds surveys that only last 4-10 minutes and pay 75p. And once completed you can carry on with more until they run out or you get bored! Completed surveys are credited to your account about 2-3 working days later. And once you reach £20 you can get it transfered to your Paypal account. Transfers can take up to 10 days but usually are paid the next day. Overall you can average about £30 a month from this site which beats all how survey sites hands down. Yes it is a rather unprofessional looking site but trust me it pays off!!

  • I joined this site last October. They send a survey invitation every day with up to 3 survey invites usually i manage 1 or two per day sometimes i get screened out the surveys range from 0.75p to 0.80 . Totally agree with what Fly Catcher says. I earn between £15 and £20 per month.

Another site similar to this is palm research well worth a try . They send invites every day. I earn about £12 to £15 per month.
  • I have check this out a while ago and have only been selected for 2 surveys, Im not sure what their usual profile is!?! Also, i dont see anyway of increasing my chances of participating... Though I havint got any spam from them so thats good as it can happen with less legit sites. If anyone has tips on increasing my chances of being selected let me know! For example, on panelopinion.co.uk when I recommend my friends they send me more surveys to complete... therefore I have earned quite a bit with them every month I have been a member. :)

    Recommendations welcome! Thanks!

 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!
  • It is worthwhile doing a bit of research about the survey sites before joining.

I joined one of the bigger ones - applied to do a survey at home and told the survey was now closed.

Next day at work I used a different account and got invited to do the same survey which was closed the night before.
