Free cheese recipe booklet

Noticed this offer earlier, when entering one of the competitions kindly posted by Dalkirst :T

'The Half Hour Host is packed full of Continental cheese recipes that can be made in under 30 minutes, perfect for staying in with a DVD or a supper in the kitchen with friends. The result is a simple-to-follow and imaginative guide for cheese fans everywhere'.

It is a little bit confusing, as they mention at the beginning that the booklet 'can be yours for the price of a 2nd class stamp', and then that it is free (on the same page). However, I've just submitted my details, and got an acknowledgment message which didn't say anything about the 2nd class stamp, and just let me know that a copy of "The Half Hour Host" would be with me shortly. ;)

  • Thanks, it went though fine for me too. Maybe the '2nd class stamp' line was left over from some older, pre-online-form text, and they've forgotten to edit it out.
  • Got mine - it arrived really quickly. Thanks. Cheese fondue, yummy...:D
  • Just sent off for mine. Really hope I get it :o

Will hopefully be able to show off my new cheesey cookery skills to the OH, hehe

It was more promo than anything else (what's with having Lawrence Llwellyn Bowen in it?! ;) ) but I expected that anyway. I found the quick fondue recipe useful and also the tips on combining different cheeses with different drinks. Just take what you need from it and ignore the rest! :)
  • Thanks OP have just registered for mine - all I need now is a promo on some nice red wine to drink with all this good cheese:T
