With this widget in the cable at the remote TV end you can then use a second Sky remote control to change Sky channels from the remote TV. (to the annoyance of anyone watching the main tv!!)
When we first put it in our bedroom the kids didn't know it was there, I sat upstairs while DD was downstairs watching Disney Channel. I kept flicking it over to Sky Sports, she'd turn it back. This went on for perhaps half an hour or so until DD was almost squealing with frustration.
She finally twigged when she could hear me laughing upstairs

Son paid for Sky in his room but I had one of these run to my bedrom (via a wire) and I could watch in day when he was in work/uni.
Now he's moved out I still use it and the sky box is stil in his room - cheaper that gettting things rewired.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

In essence its like having the box in the same room, so whatever you can do on the Sky Box you can do through the magic eye in another room.0 -
