Thurs 3rd Feb - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Goooood morning lovely people....oooooh it's Thursday so the weekend is in sight:T:T Hope every one is having a good week and still feeling cheery...I certainly am;)
By the way - this is millyscarlett with my new name...I'm now unrecognisable to anyone who knows me:cool::cool: There I am, undercover!
My good news - I finshed my essay:beer: Reference list all written too, I just need to print it and might nip to hand it in today:) Very happy and pleased I actually just got on with it!
Ok, time for my list:

- Porridge for brekkie
- Walking everywhere
- Pack for weekend away :T Going to see friend's new house and catching up with the girls
- Email friends not call
- Enjoy a free cuppa - Stitchy, how did you get on seeing if your boss would buy decaf? Used to annoy me having to buy my own tea/coffee and milk (hence why it is always now on my small things...)
- Time for knitting? Probably shouldn't as won't be here all weekend and at yoga tonight so maybe a quick tidy round is called for
- Make up time at work

Good morning everyone, and thanks to pixiechick for starting the thread today. Just a quick visit as I've spent far too long reading the local paper this morning
La E - yesterday was manic so hardly saw my boss. Didn't get to ask about the coffee or a pension! Did ask the junior partner about the 'broken' vacuum cleaner though and he said to dispose of it. All it needs is a jolly good service (DH can do it) and then E-bay!!
So far today:- WM run on Economy 7
- checked banking - ticking over nicely
- checked for surveys
- fed and watered chickens
- HM soup to take to work for lunch
- charge mobile at work
- just buy 2 rolls at the bakery - stay away from the cappuchino doughnuts
- do a half hour walk and drop in to riding stables to ask about lessons for DGD
- read book with last bit of lunch break - reading "London" by Edward Rutherfurd (living near Salisbury I've read "Sarum" twice now
)
- use DH's car and thus his diesel
- dinner from stores

I can't remember the site's url but if you google the National PMS (association or society - I forget) they have some good suggestions on their forums (free to join the forums) for dealing with PMT... there's lots of natural remedies you can take or you may just want to keep a record of your symptoms (think there's a check list on the PMS site) and go to your GP in 2 months time and see about getting the mini pill or something? I don't know...
I just know what really bad PMS is like and it sucks big time. In the autumn it put me to bed almost 24/7 26/31...I had to get anti depressants in the end and they really helped but now I need to come off them because of the nightmares they cause...:(...still need to clarify the SJW with Dr. C as well ....Have reduced the AD's to the next dose down already (past 2 nights...was a little down with the D&G's yesterday but put that down to being utterly shattered).....
So little got done yesterday cos was just shattered though did finish a sock....
Hence today's agenda reflects that.... and somehow I've got to fit in depot shot with this ams schedule  (fortunately it's only 15 mins walk up the hill to the clinic...The joys of living in the town centre...I know someone on facebook down south who is on £53 a week to feed 3 etc and has very few shops that are cheap nearby...I praise God I have lots of shops nearby...some are very cheap, like the asian cash and carry etc)

Morning all
So far today I've:
- checked banking (it doesn't feel as scary any more)
- checked for surveys
- started breadmaking
- turned off all the lights (one day the girls might actually remember this for themselves!)
- heating's off - it's quite warm here
Still to do:
- Morrisons later, with list, to which I will stick
- lunch on leftovers
- dinner from menu/stores, prepped early so I don't have to do it on return from Morrisons
- check library, return books, make request for new ones (this is in lieu of buying books; we live by a small library, with not much choice, so the free ordering service is brilliant)
Have a good day, everyone2011 wins: 2 day gym membership, film download, NETBOOK!Debt at LBM: [STRIKE][/STRIKE] [STRIKE]26/1/11 = £4733.26[/STRIKE] 11/6/11 = £3759.3840
