Im currently only meeting minimum payments on my store cards and credit card. Im due to go on maternity leave in April and my maternity pay will run out Jan 2012. i want to be as debt free as i can be but ive got no spare money to pay anymore than i already do !0 -

How many are in your family? Is it just you and your children?

Thank you. I live with my partner and our 1 child and another due in April.
He pays TV license and i pay for sky. So some of the bits i have missed off, he pays for.
I pay for his parking, on days i am running late for the school run so he drives and parks at the station and drops us off along the way.
I haven't been having hair cuts, and just colouring my hair at home. I am not too sure how much i am spending on clothes for myself, it was ALOT before i was pregnant.0 -

He has his own overdraft to pay off. We keep finances very seperate. We both pay half of the rent / council tax and half of the bills when they come in. Then each persons money is there own to spend. He will give me anything i want i but dont feel comfortable asking him to help with my debts0

I have made some comments on where cutbacks could be made. Hopefully some of them will be useful for you.
From your SOA you are in the fortunate position to be bringing in more than you are spending. But what seems to be missing here is how much debt you have and what is the iterest rate that you are paying? (ie how long will it take to pay off at the current level of debt repayment? And, if you made some of the cutbacks suggested above and put this towards the debt, how soon could you be debt free?)
Also, it might be worth your while doing an SOA for when your salary reduces - to see how you will need to alter your spending in advance.

Edit: Just seen your debts in your signature: You need to find out what the minimum payments are for each, and the APR's for each. Is the O/D a monthly charge or are you charged interest (or both?)

Hopefully you can work on making some reductions before you go on maternity from the suggestions above. Presumably once you are they'll be certain costs you won't pay anymore - parking, meals at work etc. Things like eating out and the cinema might need to be shelved for a while (you'll probably be to exhausted anyway!)
How much will your income decrease by with maternity? have you looked at what you will get then compared to your income now? have you thought about how long you will be off work?
Is partner good with money etc? presumably he realises you will be earning less - will he be in a position to contribute a little more overall when you are on maternity?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
