Is there a term for dragging up old threads? there is a lot of it happening today.
Anyone else here battening down the hatches in anticipation of an evening of thunderstorms? My local forecast is predicting them from 5pm until 10pm and I've got a Stormvue live tracker app open in another tab, watching the strikes get closer and closer :eek:I was cut out to be rich, but got sewn up wrong.0 -
Necroposting - I like that reya - I can see I might be using that!!
Take it you are not a fan of thunderstorms?? I quite like storms although not driving in them. I'll check out when they are due near me as I'd like toget home in time to give the woofla some rescue remedy. She is not a fan of thunder.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Not a fan of them, no, Tixy. I live in the middle ground of three encircling rivers, so thunderstorms tend to gang up and loiter for hours, just following the water. I run around unplugging everything and am thus left internetless. And it's at that point I look around and think (Eddie Izzard-like) - "Housework, or books?"
Books win. Every time
(Hope the wind isn't heading up a storm front there, If. I often find the wind gets up suddenly before a storm literally blows in.)I was cut out to be rich, but got sewn up wrong.0 -
