Maybe we should celebrate each day according to the meaning of its name?

Monday = day of the moon. Do something moon-related (put your trousers back on, Handy, you'll frighten the squirrels...)
Tuesday = from Tiw the Viking god of war - do your work today with real aggression, tackling each task as though you want to defeat it. (don't bash anybody up, though)
Wednesday = Woden's day. I think he was the big chief of the gods? Take charge of something that has been bothering you.
Thursday = Thor's day, the god of thunder? Make a lot of noise today - put on your old heavy metal tunes or sing opera at 90 decibels while you do the ironing.
Friday = Freya's day? I think that was a goddess, so you could get in touch with your feminine side today (the mind boggles....)
Saturday = Saturn's Day. Wasn't he the god of Time? Make this day the day you take time for yourself.
Sunday = day of the sun. Pass me the pina coladas, somebody!
