Hi Tix This is a strange one, Funny Name, plugging Experian Ect. Not sure feels odd.Very Savy for a Newbie. Will keep watch, Handy.:DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

Trying to be smart with his posts but his name and user info are def against MSE rules. I'm sure they'll ban him in the morning but hope we can get enough people to spam the posts into disappearing in the meantime.
Sorry to hear Erme isn't well, hope she's on the mend soon.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Tix, yes your right, his name and user info ring alarm bells. He is certainly not a first time poster. Too slick. I just wonder if we have met him/her before.
Cheers, Handy.:DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

Well I asked the person to explain why the name and link on contact info, no response so Spam button well and truly pressed.
I wonder what the Which organisation think about someone using their name to plug a website (obviously nothing to do with them). I wonder what the Credit reference agency's are thinking of using this method of plugging their product.
Cheers for now, Handy.:DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

Its a supposed comparison website (not linked to the 'real' Which') so they probably are paid for advertising and quite possibly paid cashback for click throughs from their site to the CRAs etc.
I say suppose comparison site as obviously not a real comparison website as the 3 CRAs don't proclaim to be the same and as we know, to get a true full picture you need to see your reports from all.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Tix, you know it's nearly a year since I joined MSE, and I'm still learning something new every day. The Scams and Spams that some folks will do to get your money, or direct you to others that will take it for them.
Could be my paranoia, (Erme will be onto me) but since my run in with a certain DCA last year. I get on average 2 spam telephone calls per week.
I know these folks use autodialers so even if your ex directory it may come up with your number by random. They are all offshore so TPS doesn't stop them. One even told me that if I was to subscibe by giving them my Bank details they would stop all spam calls.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yeh Right.
If I had one wish it would be for more insiders and whistle blowers who don't agree with treating folks in this way to join us. I suppose that's as much of a dream as picking 5 numbers and 2 lucky stars on the Euromills.
Time for Handy to go now, I have a kennel to finish building tomorrow.
