Quick questions, what's the point of posting the BUMP posts? it all seems a little childish to me and if people are subscribed to a thread they get loads of notifications.

Keeps the message at the top of the first page - I'd suggest if you are going to subscribe to a thread like this that has without fail has 10-20postings you choose to subscribe without notification.

If you feel its childish (which obviously the regular contributors do not) then perhaps don't subscibe or read this thread.
