Notice to Newcomers - re Trolls - Part 10

New page, new reminder. Welcome to DFW, if you are new please read the message below.:)
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!
What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Report” icon, as shown below:Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the MSE team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM
It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisisPLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THATadde parvum parvo magnus acervus erit

Dear Pott5y,
Thankyou so much for yuor reminder that as a newcomer I can ignore troll postings because they do not represent the spirit of this board which is to help those of us in debt to get to grips with our problems in a non judgemental way.

Good Evening All. We have a thunderstorm here thats lasted for over 4 hours, poor dogs are plating their legs. I hope it passes soon so I can get them out for a pee.
Back to normal with the boss. Today I got Mrs Handy a new cooker off ebay. It means I will have to alter some cupboards and get some gas bottles mounted on an outside wall. Her ladyship went spare, I dont want to look at your cottage and see those ugly things stuck on the wall. In my garden I have two 2500 litre gas tanks that run the heating in the hall, but she cant see them, but I have to put up with them.
Tomorrow she's looking at a Farm house about 10 miles away. She thinks at 1.1m it would be a good investment to do up. I had a look at the estate agents website. The house and land probably needs the same spending on it to do up. The 3 bedroom cottage that goes with it is to die for. Its just been a grand design. Minstrel Gallery and Vaulted ceiling.
Theres no chance she will go for it (thankfully as Handy knows how much work he would have to do) Besides one cant have ones staff too comfortable.
I never thought buying the Mrs a new cooker would get me in the good books. Mind you it is a 6 burner and double oven range, and before you think Handy's minted £50 from ebay.:T
Cheap aint I.
Regards to all, Handy.:DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,
