It's just about keeping me busy. 4 years ago I redid the Library, painted the stone walls, removed a stone staircase, laid a new chestnut floor, altered all the book cases and with help put in a new staircase, wood paneling and rewired the room. It's a terrific room, I would in there all the time if it was mine, the room is semi circular and the view is terrific. A former owner wrote the series Yes Minister in this room.
The only person who goes in there is Mrs Handy to dust and Hoover once a week.
In a way I don't mind it not getting used, as Its my work and I would hate anyone to muck it up.:D
Regards all, back in a bit, Handy.:D
Handy, I would love a library like that (in fact, I'd love a library, and the space for it:D), it sounds lovely. At least, as you say, if it's not used it can't get damaged. What a shame though:(
Hope the kennel is going OK and you manage to stay dry for the rest of the day.
Morning to the rest of the gang, hope you're all well today:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Good afternoon trollbusters, been a bit busy workwise in the land of Nargle but am away visiting family at the weekend so will hopefully get chance to wind down.
Good reminder from If - any newbies out there, one of the first steps in tackling debt problems is to set it down in black and white exactly what your financial situation is, using the SOA calculator mentioned. Then, once you've peeled yourself off the ceiling, you know it can only get better because you have your baseline to start from and you will then start receiving advice and support in tackling the problem. It can be done! It just takes a bit of time and effort and determination, and we can supply the pats on the back and the kicks up the backside where needed. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Excellent reminders Nargle and If. :T:T:T
