Thanks for the pick me up, Erme, definitely needed this morning.
Red, hope you enjoyed your Shiraz last night:beer:
Hi Solvent,
The Shiraz was lovely thanks. I've also just had some Italian Red that is awesome too. My Liver is thankful the weekend is only 2 days:rotfl:If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

And another wintry evening bump with lots of love to the trollbusting troops, been a bit busy so have been a bit lax in my bumping duties but you are all doing splendidly and I hope to be a bit more prolific in administering the requisite kicks up the jacksey to our Fred. One life - your life - live it!0

Hi all, today's been grim. That's why I'm drinking LBD. Liquid brain death or special brew. Today started well, then on the morning walk my two borders decided they would have a fight to the death over a piece of twig.
By the time I got them apart, One had a bruised windpipe the other has half her face ripped off and Handy is minus the tip of his little finger. I look like I've been doing business with the Yakosa. So tomorrow it's of to the vets and hospital for me.
One day soon Handy will have something funny or uplifting to report.:D
All I can say for now is Red, I hope your liver is in better condition than mine.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good Job I don't play golf anymore I couldn't swing my club past mine.:)
My doctor asked me if my shakes were down to drinking too much, I said Drinking too much, look I spill most of it!:rotfl:
Cheers all, Back in a while. Regards, Handy.:DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

Hello Everyone :hello::hello:
Haven't been on for ages, hope you are all well. We've moved house again I see!
I hope you are all well. Just read thru the last few pages quickly and it seems Handy you are having a rough time at the moment, I hope everything gets sorted for you soon. I miss being on here but at the moment I just don't seem to have the time, or the energy to stay awake when I do have some time! Lots of things going on at the mo (none good) but I don't want to bore you all with that.
I see Red is still supplying (or should that be supping) lots of the red stuff:beer: feel like joining you right now;).
Still haven't managed to get a car sorted yet and I haven't walked so much for I can't remember how long and funnily enough I'm quite enjoying it. Once I get geared up to walk somewhere and actually set off, it's ok, just a bit too cold at the moment. Most days I'm walking about 6-8 miles, which isn't a great amount but is an awful lot for me.
Anyhow folks, best wishes to you all, keep up the good work and hopefully I will be able to visit more often soon.
BLI must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

After all my ranting of the last 24 hours, I'm not sure I shouldn't find somewhere to do this thanks as a blog. But I would like to say thanks to the local MIU (Minor Injuries Unit) :T of the local cottage hospital. They have 2 wards of 15 beds each. There is always an on call nurse to deal with minor injuries. Monday to Friday it has it's own X-Ray dept. I got there at 10.00 and by 10:15 I was on my way home finger tip re-attached and with a packet of horse tablets (antibiotics).:A
We live in a farming community and hours are dusk till dawn. Staff has to be on call at the hospital, but recently they have cut the hours of the MIU to 9 -6 (office hours) even though the staff are there 24/7. When the local Farmhand has an accident it's not usually during Office Hours, If the MIU isn't open It's a 20 mile dash to the East or a 15 mile dash to the North, and if it's Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening as in most major cities get ready for a long wait.
I won't go into cost cutting, GP's budgets, Stake holders and the rest. The power's that be think we are all weak minded and cant figure out when thing work and when they don't. Hasn't anyone explained to them that small is Beautiful, and cost effective.
Nough said, Handy has had his 5 minutes.:D
Finger tip is hurting like you wouldn't believe. If it wasn't for the special brew it would really hurt.:rotfl:
Good job I only type with one finger.
